Herbal Vinaigrette

It has been said that herbs are the “soul of cookery.” What a delightful feeling inside when your guests ask: “Is this a home made dressing? It is wonderful.” You can feel proud, with joy, and say: “I made it!”
This is a simple recipe and you may vary it as you wish. You may also substitute a herbal oil for a vinaigrette.
INGREDIENTS:
3 tbsp herbal oil (lemon balm, marjoram, rosemary or salad brunet)
1 tbsp white wine vinegar/herbal oil (saffron, rosemary)
1 tsp mustard
Freshly ground black pepper (always)
1 clove of crushed garlic
3 tbsp chopped herbs (basil, chervil, chives, dill seed, tarragon & thyme)
NEXT TO DO:
Mix all ingredients, herbs and oil, together in a jar or or bottle.
I use this recipe to enhance any green salad, and I also use it as a marinade for steaks, chicken, lamb, or pork. This Herbal Vinaigrette/Oil recipe is a favorite of mine.
Healthy Recipe yeilds one cup of dressing.
