AUDI’S AWESOME STIR FRY
Posted by Carole-Anne on September 10, 2007
Stir fry recipes are a big all time favorite – they can be added with your meat of choice, with noodles, rice – and the veggies only need be cooked a small amount so as to retain the nutrients – it is a winner all way around and once again, my daughter passed the recipe onto me. At Healthy Recipes, we enjoy passing on these truly healthy choices for your meals.
INGREDIENTS:
2 leeks
1 small Chinese cabbage
1 red pepper
2 green onions
2 cups fresh broccoli
2 cups fresh cauliflower
2 cups bean sprouts
1 cup carrots
1 can baby corns
1 can water chestnuts
Sprinkles of rice vinegar
Stir Fry Sauce
Mrs. Dash or Sprinkle a favorite choice of mixed herbs
NEXT TO DO:
Place all veggies in your Wok.
Sprinkle rice vinegar (few tbsp on veggies while in Wok)
Add minced garlic, a few dashes of Mrs. Dash, gradually, ending with stirring of a Stir Fry Sauce of your choice.
Stir veggies turning over gently until they are just cooked firmly.
Serve over rice, or on its own!
If you prefer non-vegan, you may add beef, shrimp or chicken or pork, and it would be added to the Wok or pan prior to adding all the veggies.
Serves 8 people. (A large recipe).
Recipe is just as good reheated!
