CITRUS GINGER BASMATIC RICE

At Healthy Recipes, I have been looking for good basmati rice recipes so I can get my complex carbohydrate, protein and great flavor and enjoy eating this rice. So I have found what I call a Citrus Ginger Basmati Rice recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/4 cup shredded ginger root
4 cups water
4 cups basmati rice
Lime juice of 2 limes
1 tsp sea salt
NEXT TO DO:
Using a 3 quart sauce pan, heat to a medium -high with extra virgin oil.
Add ginger root and ground cumin and heat for one minute.
Stir in basmati rice and sea salt.
Reduce heat to simmer, covering pan, for about 15 – 20 minutes until all the liquid disappears and rice is tender.
Stir in lime juice and zest.
Citrus Ginger Basmati Rice recipe is recommended as a side dish.

This Basmati Recipe can be used as a side dish, or ad big fresh frozen cooked shrimp, and frozen green vegetables and you will have a full meal to serve.
